Shepard Fairey (1970 - ) is a US street artist whose “Obey” sticker campaign based on the imagery of “Andre the Giant” made him famous even before his iconic “Hope” poster was created at the time of Barrack Obama’s first run for the White House. Fairey walks the difficult line between creating street art and making a living through commercial commissions. One of our favourite Fairey images has always been “Make Art, Not War” and we were delighted to have a very good quality print of this in stock but this has now sold out. We are working to source a new range of Shepard Fairey prints as the "Obey Robot" poster has also sold out (Sept 2020).
