High quality modern reprint created from an extremely high resolution scan of the original (1899) vintage poster. Published originally by the New Zealand Graphic and Star Printing Works “Native Flowers of New Zealand” was a very early NZ natural history colour lithograph. Original painting was by William Huddlestone, lithographed by William Shaw Diedrich Schmidt. Features native NZ flowers including pohutukawa, clematis, kowhai, kakabeak, hebes and daisies in a wooden bowl with Maori carving.
