Laurence Aberhart (1949 - ), New Zealand photographer. Exhibiting since the 1970s Aberhart's work has had a warmer reception in the gallery world than more commercially successful peers such as Craig Potton. His painstakingly developed original photographs are produced using traditional methods such as silver gelatine often with extremely long exposures. NZ Fine Prints stocked a photolithographic print of an Aberhart platinum print photograph, the original photograph was purchased by Te Papa in 1996. Update: this print has now sold out.
