Carlo Biscaretti

Full name Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia (1879 - 1959), Italian poster designer. An Italian Count and automobile enthusiast as well as an artist and designer. One of his designs, for the Annisetta Evangelisti brand of desert liquor, depicting a monkey quaffing from the bottle has become one of the world’s most famous advertising images from what we call today the “vintage” period.
