"Looking across at a spectacular sunset or vista of tumbled mountains is food for the soul. There is a sense of awe, of peace and of harmony with nature and it is these feelings that I am trying to convey in my artwork” says Canterbury artist Mike Glover. Drawing inspiration for his work from his love of the New Zealand landscape and his interest in conservation and community, Mike has been a full-time artist since 1995. His work is popular for its bold, often stylised images of land, sky and water. He mainly works in soft pastels and loves the immediacy and vibrancy of this medium. He is pleased the giclee printing process has captured the essence of his pastel originals. Alongside his limited edition prints we now stock prints on canvas of some of Mike's paintings, these are not signed or numbered.
