There are now three prints of Doris Lusk paintings currently in print and in stock at New Zealand Fine Prints. Dunedin born artist Doris Lusk (1916-1990) studied at the Dunedin School of Art. After marrying in 1942 she raised three children during the 1940s and 1950s. Lusk continued to paint despite the demands of managing a household and maintaining a career as an artist. Lusk was appointed as a tutor at the Canterbury School of Fine Arts in 1966 and later on was appointed to a lectureship in painting, a position she held until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of The Group and she exhibited annually.
