Man Ray

Man Ray (1890 - 1976) was a painter, film-maker and photographer. Born in the USA to Russian immigrant parents his early career began in New York (he was part of the Dada movement) and he moved to Paris in 1921. A fashion photographer for magazines such as Vogue Man Ray also found time for more fine art photography such as the 1924 work “Violon d’Ingres”.
