C. N. Worsley

Charles Nathaniel Worsley RBA (fl.1880-1923) arrived in New Zealand from England, and settled in Gisborne. He exhibited for many years with art societies in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, travelling frequently to Europe, where he died during a visit to Brescia. His delicate watercolour paintings, often of townscapes and buildings, are held in most major New Zealand galleries.
