This series of artworks is based on Novak’s interpretation of the ground breaking British pop artist Richard Hamilton description of pop art as being “‘transient, glamorous, expendable, sexy, and popular”. Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman is a super celebrity in what Novak calls the “hyper inflated world of American stardom” and the artist is interested in combining his love of pop and street art while exploring the idea of escapism through science fiction.
