The colours of an overcast day were what inspired this new print from Auckland artist and graphic designer Greg Straight. This naturally retro 80s colour palette became the springboard for this design driven artwork, “Grey Day at Maori Bay” is almost abstract with its simplified forms but it is still clearly a NZ beach landscape with seagulls aloft.
