A fine example of an art deco art print from artists Rosie Louise and Terry Moyle.   Authors and illustrators of books such as “Art Deco Airports” Rosie and Terry are experts on this period of art and architecture. With their new print of the Wairarapa Times-Age building in Masterton they depict one of NZ’s finest art deco buildings in its heyday. The Times-Age building has been the home of Wairarapa’s daily newspaper since the 1930s. Designed by the Wellington-based firm Mitchell & Mitchell, which specialised in the architectural style that became known as 'Art Deco'. This art deco gem is a listed Heritage New Zealand building, they state on the official register “The Wairarapa Times-Age building has heritage value. It is architecturally important as a well-executed example of the Art Deco style and draws on maritime imaging first developed by Le Corbusier. It is aesthetically pleasing and is an important landmark in Masterton.”
