Mike Weston told us “Over the last 18 months Otis and I have worked super hard to reinvent and produce a range of new screenprints, to fill what we perceived as a price gap in the range of works.” Same super slick production values but in a smaller, more affordable size. Interestingly from a printmaking perspective this print was made as a series of six individual images with a hand finished coloured green background printed on a single sheet, so there are six very slightly different variations of yellow markings on the green tiki within the 50 prints of this edition. We’ll send you the next one we have in stock so the actual print you receive might be just a little different to the brush like pattern shown on our catalogue image. The 8 Bit Tiki print by Weston Frizzell is referencing early 8 bit computer graphics and the Maori tiki motif.
