The science of botany needed artists to faithfully record each plant in colour to aid identification for other scientists. NZ-based botanical artist Sarah Featon painted the Campbell Island daisy, Pleurophyllum speciosum, or “Antarctic Daisy” in watercolour from a specimen collected from this sub-Antarctic island. This modern re-print of Featon’s original botanical drawing is printed in NZ on fine Italian Tintoretto paper stock.
