Created by NZ map designer Karyn McDonald “Aotearoa” is a wall map that has been inspired by her desire to pursue a contemporary approach to the art of map design. She shows the contrast of varying amounts of light from the more or less densely populated areas against a deep black surrounding, creating a stunning artwork for your wall. The black boxframe is the perfect frame for this map, because there is no glass for the light to reflect off - the surface of the print is protected by an invisible laminated coating which has a mat finish.
