In the artists own words ‘In the search for a theme  for an art work we could all connect with, we seized upon the historic rock'n roll tune the Green Door, first recorded by Jim Lowe and later a big hit for Shakin Stevens, in the continuing  Weston Frizzell tradition of titling works with the names of famous songs.’
