Lester writes about this print God grant me the serenity to ACCEPT the things I cannot change is how the prayer starts...Choosing to see what wonders and blessings are present and being grateful for those, not resentful of what is not present, is a practice for someone like me, not a natural state at all. I accept I am not always my best person and believe that the content of my character, as Dr. King put it, might be judged by my efforts to mitigate my weaknesses rather than in the fact that like everyone else, that I have them.
