From the collection of the Dunedin Public Art Gallery,  Fortress House,  Paremata was painted by Robin White in 1973.  The artist decided to give the artwork this title because she thought the house was so neat and tody and never saw anyone there.  It is also an excellent example of a typical Art Deco house.
