Painted in October 1841 this is a view of Astrolabe Roadstead in Tasman Bay, with the ships Will Watch, Whitby and Arrow in the bay.
This is a book plate taken from A Folio of Charles Heaphy Watercolours by Tony Murray Oliver there are several other plates from the folio in the Charles Heaphy collection.
