Charles Decimus Barraud was a New Zealand pharmacist and artist who emigrated to New Zealand in 1849.


This print is from a twentieth century re-print of Barraud's "Graphic & Descriptive" which was originally published in 1877. This attractive early view of Mount Egmont,  along with other regional NZ views has been extracted from the 1960 edition of Barraud’s “New Zealand: Graphic and Descriptive”.
