Kiwiana artist Matt Guild writes that this painting that it is about those "moments as a kid when you have saved your pocket money and are heading to the dairy [NZ corner store] to get that special treat". It celebrates icons of kiwiana like "The Longest Drink in Town" giraffe milkshake container and a pint sized glass milk bottle used for home milk delivery in New Zealand. This handsigned print is both a slice of kiwiana and a good example of contemporary New Zealand pop art.
