Very early (probably first published 1926) vintage NZ shipping poster. Advertises New Zealand to England by the Most Direct Route with No Transhipping (ie without swapping ships along the way). There were two classes of sailings, Tourist Sailings on the Ionic and Tainui or Cabin sailings on the Tamaroa and Mataroa. Designer unknown. A superb vintage design originally printed by Whitcombe and Tombs and now available as a giclee re-print on superb vintage style paper using modern lightfast inks.
