NB: This is the last one - 12/50.  Sold Out. One of Hansen's most personal artworks, this print is a self-portrait of Shane as a young boy. "I was once very afraid of this tiki", Shane told us, "I was never allowed a tiki when I was younger". But now he is embracing the tiki in an acceptance of who he is. Certain parts of the print are particularly symbolic to the artist - the feathers (uplifting), the moko (pride), the shoes (direction). Boy and Friendy (Friendy is the name given to the tiki character by Hansen) is full of hope for the future, "I am now happy", says Shane, "protected by my friendy".
