Print of McCahon’s 1959 painting where the artist utilised enamel paint and sand to create this dramatic landscape. The original was famously once part of the Christchurch Public Library collection and reputedly available on loan to anyone with a library card. However since 2001 the original painting of “Red and Black Landscape” has been safely in the collection of the Christchurch Art Gallery.
