NZ’s world famous Moeraki Boulders are found on Koekohe Beach on the Otago Coast. Local Maori legend is that the are the remains of eel baskets washed ashore after a waka was wrecked nearby. Chinese/Kiwi artist Sean Chen’s colourful screenprint is a bold and contemporary interpretation of these well known landmarks.
