Please note: This print has what we would call an "artifact of the printing process", you might call it a small spot of yellow ink on the border of the image :)  A small oops by the printmaker when making the print, this would be under the mat board when the print is framed, or if you don't mind the imperfections of handmade (like the variations in a handwove vs machine made rug) we think this is kind of charming to point out if you could actually see it when the artwork is on the wall. Wainui Bay is a classic North Island beach fringed by ancient Pohutukawa trees. As a keen surfer Tony’s eye for a rideable wave is evident in this 2014 edition. Printed by hand in Tony’s studio this is a lovely example of Ogle’s artwork in a more econonical size than his recent series of larger screenprints.
