At one level this print is a careful still life study of a difficult subject, “Milk for Two” is a skillful painting of clear glass and reflections. It is also a homage to the everyday household objects that no longer form part of NZers homes, a nostalgic reminder of when milk came in glass bottles carried back from the letterbox in a coated wire milk bottle holder.
