Evelyn Page was fascinated by the effects of light on the human form. In this famous New Zealand painting "Pohutukawa Rina" the artist painted two nude female subjects in summertime illuminated with leaf dappled light and shade from the tree above. This print is currently unavailable (the print run published by the Christchurch Art Gallery in conjunction with the Evelyn Page Estate has completely sold out).
