Rozzie at Pisa by Grahame Sydney

Unearthed hidden at the back of a gallery we only have 3 of these prints.  They were originally published by Graham via the Octagon Press in 1978,   the same year Rozzie was painted.  They have great provenance but we have reduced the price for this large print to reflect the minor dings of age.

Grahame painted this iconic painting in 1978 while living in a cottage on Mount Pisa Station.  Ros stands at the kitchen door of the cottage, lost in her own thoughts.  It is possibly one of New Zealand's best know portraits along with CF Goldie's A Good Joke and Cleopatra by Rita Angus.

‘Rozzie’ is now in the national collection at Te Papa Tongarewa.
