Update: This print run has now sold out. Angus based this painting on a sketch she made in Tinakori Road, looking towards a group of houses on Glenbervie Terrace. Rita once told a critic, "I take quite a lot of trouble with composition...and this painting reflects that. The brilliant blue sky accentuates the solid forms of the clouds. These shapes contrast with the brightly coloured, angular houses. This high quality print of "View from Tinakori Road" by Rita Angus was published in conjunction with the Rita Angus: Life and Vision touring exhibition.
