NZ Photographer Reuben Price captures his NZ native plant subjects in ultra high resolution in a controlled light environment within a custom built light box. Prints are then printed using the giclee printing process for ultimate longevity and colour fidelity. Kowhai are endemic to Aotearoa, there are eight species of the genus Sophora, some of which can grow into trees up to 25 feet high. Each of the New Zealand Flora series of prints is authenticated with a hand embossed New Zealand Flora series emblem in the bottom left hand corner.
